Job Summary :
We are looking for a passionate and creative Assistant Preschool Curriculum Developer to support the design, development, and enhancement of engaging learning materials aligned with the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. The role involves assisting in curriculum planning, lesson development, activity creation, teacher resource preparation, and ensuring age-appropriate learning experiences for children aged 1–6 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and updating preschool curriculum based on the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework.
- Support the creation of weekly and monthly lesson plans, activity planners, and teaching resources.
- Design engaging, play-based learning activities that promote holistic child development.
- Prepare worksheets, story-based learning materials, flashcards, assessment tools, and classroom resources.
- Ensure curriculum content aligns with EYFS learning and development goals.
- Research innovative teaching methodologies and incorporate best practices into curriculum development.
- Work closely with senior curriculum developers, academic teams, and teachers to gather feedback and improve curriculum quality.
- Support the development of teacher manuals, implementation guides, and training materials.
- Review curriculum content for accuracy, consistency, and age appropriateness.
- Assist in developing assessment formats and observation templates.
- Maintain curriculum documentation and version control.
- Participate in curriculum review meetings and pilot implementations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Certification or training in EYFS/British Curriculum will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in preschool teaching, curriculum development, or academic content creation.
- Experience working with British Curriculum (EYFS) is preferred.
- Freshers with strong EYFS knowledge and excellent content development skills may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development milestones.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong lesson planning and educational content writing skills.
- Creativity in designing engaging learning experiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Familiarity with Canva or other educational content design tools is an added advantage.
