Manage the entire range of flight ticketing functions for FIT and group travel with accuracy in fare constructions, timeliness in issue, changes and refunds.
Minimize costs by utilizing series fares, private/contract fares, and published/negotiated inventories within airline fare rules and company SOPs.
Daily work with airline zonal managers to get inventory, waivers and commercials to support margin and service SLAs.
Search, price and build itineraries through GDS (Galileo, Amadeus, Sabre) and NDC/airline portals; create/quality check PNRs, queue management, ticket issue, reissues/revalidations, EMDS/SSRs.
- interpret and apply fare rules, RBDs, combinations, baggage provisions, surcharges, tax logic; ensure compliant exchanges, invol/vol changes and refunds.
Essential skills
- Deep understanding of series fares: contracting, inventory management, release/recall windows, blackout handling and yield/cost optimization.
- In-depth knowledge of fare rules and ticketing: CATs (3/4/5/6/10/12/14/15/16/19/23/31/33/50), married segments, stopovers/transfers, combinability, MCT, baggage (piece/weight), Q/YQ/YR, tax applications.
- Advanced skills on Galileo, Amadeus and Sabre (pricing, fare quote overrides, waiver entries, queue control, split/merge pnr’s, OSI/SSR, ticketing, reissue/refund flows.
- In-depth knowledge of airline/NDC portals, EMD issuance, ancillaries, interline/ticketing agreements, codeshares.
- Deep understanding of BSP Link processes, best practices and finance reconciliation of ADM/ACM.
Desired:
Certification or formal training in at least one GDS (Galileo/Amadeus/Sabre).
3-6 years of experience in airline ticketing operations in travel agencies/OTAs/TMCs, including group bookings and series fare management.
