The Driver – Solid Waste Management is responsible for safely operating garbage collection vehicles for door-to-door waste collection and transportation. The role ensures timely collection of municipal solid waste, adherence to assigned routes, compliance with traffic and safety regulations, and proper maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
- Operate the assigned garbage collection vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Collect municipal solid waste from designated residential, commercial, and public areas as per the assigned route.
- Ensure timely transportation of collected waste to the designated transfer station or disposal facility.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections before and after each shift and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
- Follow all traffic rules, safety guidelines, and company standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate with sanitation workers/helpers during waste collection operations.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
