The Cosmetology Doctor is responsible for diagnosing and managing hair and skin conditions, recommending evidence-based treatment plans, performing aesthetic procedures within their qualifications and legal scope of practice, ensuring patient safety, maintaining accurate medical records, and delivering high-quality clinical care in accordance with company SOPs and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities1. Patient Consultation
- Conduct comprehensive medical consultations for hair and skin concerns.
- Obtain detailed medical history and perform clinical examinations.
- Diagnose hair and skin conditions.
- Explain treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, benefits, limitations, and costs.
- Obtain informed consent before procedures.
2. Clinical Procedures
Perform procedures that are within your qualifications, training, and applicable legal scope of practice, such as:
- PRP for hair and skin.
- GFC treatment.
- Hair loss evaluation and medical management.
- Acne and acne scar management.
- Pigmentation treatments.
- Chemical peels.
- Intralesional procedures where appropriate.
- Botox and fillers (only if appropriately trained and legally authorized).
- Laser procedures (if certified and authorized).
- Minor dermatological procedures within competency.
3. Hair Transplant
- Evaluate patient eligibility for hair transplant.
- Review blood investigations.
- Determine medical fitness for surgery.
- Develop surgical treatment plans.
- Supervise and document pre-operative and post-operative care.
- Coordinate with the Hair Transplant Surgeon and OT team.
4. Medical Documentation
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Record diagnosis, prescriptions, treatment plans, and follow-up notes.
- Ensure informed consent forms are completed before procedures.
- Maintain clinical photographs according to company protocol.
- Update the CRM immediately after consultation.
5. Patient Safety
- Follow infection prevention and sterilization protocols.
- Monitor patients for complications or adverse events.
- Manage medical emergencies according to established protocols.
- Escalate complex cases when necessary.
6. Prescription & Medication
- Prescribe medications responsibly and only where legally permitted.
- Monitor patient response to treatment.
- Educate patients on medication use and possible side effects.
7. Clinical Quality
- Adhere to company SOPs and evidence-based medical practice.
- Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain ethical standards in all patient interactions.
8. Team Coordination
- Supervise therapists and cosmetologists in treatment execution.
- Guide staff on clinical protocols.
- Coordinate with Branch Managers regarding patient flow and service quality.
- Attend regular clinical review meetings.
9. Patient Experience
- Deliver professional, ethical, and compassionate care.
- Address patient concerns promptly.
- Ensure high standards of patient satisfaction.
Qualification
Eligible qualifications may include:
- MBBS with relevant training or experience in Aesthetic Medicine.
- MD Dermatology.
- DVD.
- DDVL.
- Other qualifications legally eligible to practice aesthetic procedures under applicable Indian laws and regulations.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in Hair & Skin / Aesthetic Medicine preferred.
- Freshers with appropriate training may also be considered for junior roles.

Pay: ₹34,526.93 - ₹137,327.76 per month
