Role Overview
The Service Coordinator will act as the operational bridge between clients, technical teams, and internal departments to ensure timely service delivery and efficient resolution of support requests. The role focuses on service scheduling, ticket management, and maintaining service quality standards for CCTV, fire alarm, and electronic security systems.
Key Responsibilities
Service Request Management
- Receive and log service requests through email, phone, or support portal.
- Create and track service tickets and ensure timely closure.
- Prioritize service calls based on urgency and service level agreements (SLA).
Technician Scheduling
- Coordinate with field technicians and engineers to assign service calls.
- Plan daily and weekly service schedules.
- Monitor technician availability and optimize field service deployment.
Client Communication
- Maintain communication with clients regarding service status and resolution timelines.
- Provide updates on ongoing service tickets and ensure client satisfaction.
- Handle escalation cases and coordinate internal resolution.
Service Documentation
- Maintain service records, reports, and installation documentation.
- Track warranty, AMC contracts, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Ensure proper documentation for completed service visits.
Internal Coordination
- Work closely with project, sales, and accounts teams for service-related requirements.
- Support spare parts tracking and service inventory coordination.
Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly service performance reports.
- Monitor service response time and closure efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or any relevant discipline.
- Technical background in electronics or IT systems is an advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years experience in service coordination, operations, or customer support.
- Experience in security systems, CCTV, fire safety, or facility management is preferred.
Key Skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and office software
