Job Description:
We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager (Upwork) with strong experience in IT service sales via Upwork, specifically for technologies such as MERN Stack, MEAN Stack, AI/ML, and Blockchain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for lead generation, proposal writing, client acquisition, and revenue growth by effectively converting opportunities into long-term business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and bid on relevant projects on Upwork for MERN, MEAN, AI/ML, and Blockchain domains
- Craft customized, high-converting proposals based on client requirements
- Generate leads through Upwork, LinkedIn, Apollo, Lusha, and other platforms
- Handle the complete sales cycle – from lead generation and client communication to negotiation and deal closure
- Understand technical requirements and coordinate with development teams (Frontend, Backend, AI/ML, Blockchain)
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and client relationships
- Ensure consistent project closures and revenue generation
- Maintain strong Upwork profile performance (ratings, response rate, job success score)
- Achieve daily bidding targets and monthly revenue goals
Requirements:
- 2–8 years of experience in Upwork bidding for IT services
- Proven experience in selling services related to MERN Stack, MEAN Stack, AI/ML, or Blockchain
- Strong understanding of web development, AI/ML solutions, and blockchain technologies
- Excellent written communication skills for proposal drafting
- Strong negotiation and client handling skills
- Ability to work onsite in Mohali
Good to Have:
- Experience with international clients (US/UK markets)
- Familiarity with tools like CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Lusha
- Experience working in night shift or flexible hours
