Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory).
- M.E./M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering or a related specialization will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in Electrical Maintenance and Operations.
- Minimum 5 years in a managerial role in a Distillery, Ethanol, Sugar, Power Plant, Chemical, or other Continuous Process Industry.
- Candidates with experience in Boiler, Turbine, Cogeneration, and Process Plant Electrical Systems will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Electrical Department to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all electrical equipment.
- Ensure reliable operation of HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, switchyards, switchgear, MCCs, PCCs, APFC panels, VFDs, DG sets, UPS systems, motors, and power distribution systems.
- Oversee the electrical maintenance of Boilers, Steam Turbines, Cogeneration Plants, Cooling Towers, Water Treatment Plants, ETP, and Utility Systems.
- Ensure continuous and efficient power supply for the distillery and utility operations.
- Coordinate electrical activities during plant shutdowns, annual maintenance, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Monitor plant energy consumption and implement energy conservation and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Lead troubleshooting of electrical faults to minimize downtime and improve plant reliability.
- Coordinate with Production, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Boiler, and Utility departments for smooth plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.
- Liaise with electricity board authorities, electrical inspectors, contractors, and equipment suppliers whenever required.
- Maintain electrical drawings, preventive maintenance schedules, breakdown reports, statutory records, and documentation.
- Manage departmental budgets, electrical spare parts inventory, and vendor performance.
- Develop and mentor the electrical maintenance team through training and technical guidance.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and power distribution.
- Hands-on experience with HT/LT systems (11 kV/33 kV preferred), transformers, switchgear, protection relays, MCCs, PCCs, VFDs, DG sets, motors, generators, and electrical panels.
- Experience in Steam Turbine, Boiler Electrical Systems, Cogeneration Plant, and Captive Power Plant operations.
- Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and industrial automation systems.
- Familiarity with electrical load management, synchronization, and power factor improvement.
- Good understanding of preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and root cause analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLD), electrical drawings, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of electrical safety regulations, statutory compliance, and industrial standards.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
