Job Summary
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in test automation using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing principles, experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts, and the ability to work closely with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.

Execute functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end test cases.

Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.

Participate in requirement analysis and test planning activities.

Develop reusable automation frameworks and utilities.

Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Playwright API testing.

Validate UI functionality across multiple browsers.

Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.

Prepare test reports and provide quality metrics.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Skills
Must Have

1–2 years of experience in Software Testing/QA Automation.

Hands-on experience with Playwright.

Strong knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript.

Understanding of automation framework design and best practices.

Experience in UI automation testing.

Knowledge of API testing (Postman or Playwright API testing).

Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.

Experience with Git version control.

Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
