JOB PURPOSE
To ensure that garments produced by the company meet the required quality standards, buyer requirements, measurements, finishing, and packing specifications before dispatch.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Production Quality Checking- woven GARMENTS
- Inspect garments during stitching, finishing, and packing stages.
- Check garment measurements according to size specifications.
- Identify defects such as:
- Stitching defects
- Fabric defects
- Shade variation
- Oil marks
- Broken stitches
- Incorrect labels/tags
- Measurement issues
Inline & Final Inspection
- Conduct inline inspection during production.
- Conduct final random inspection before packing.
- Approve only quality-passed garments for dispatch.
Quality Documentation
- Maintain daily QC reports.
- Record rejection and alteration details.
- Maintain buyer quality standards and inspection records.
Coordination
- Coordinate with production supervisors and tailors for corrections.
- Inform management regarding repeated quality issues.
Packing Quality
- Verify:
- Folding
- Poly packing
- Barcode/tagging
- Carton packing
- Quantity checking
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Knowledge of garment quality standards
- Understanding of measurement chart
- Basic fabric knowledge
- Good observation skills
- Ability to identify garment defects
- Basic reporting and documentation knowledge
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of:
- AQL inspection
- Buyer compliance standards
- Measurement checking
- Finishing quality
- Needle policy awareness
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
