Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and technically proficient Sales Support Engineer to bridge the gap between the Sales and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will provide technical support during the sales process, understand customer requirements, prepare technical proposals, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand product features, functionalities, and technical benefits.
- Provide technical support during pre-sales activities and customer interactions.
- Analyze customer requirements and recommend suitable engineering solutions.
- Prepare technical proposals, specifications, pricing, and supporting documentation.
- Develop technical documents, user manuals, and product training materials.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Product teams to communicate customer feedback.
- Support sales strategy development by identifying growth opportunities.
- Conduct market research on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
- Participate in sales meetings, exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 1–3 years of experience in sales of mechanical engineering equipment.
- BE/Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (Mandatory).
- Experience in Material Handling Industry will be preferred.
- Candidates from Process Industry, Chemical, Pharmaceutical Equipment Manufacturing, or Project Consulting backgrounds are preferred.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and industrial products.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
