Position: Production Head (Fabrication)
Location: Murthal, Sonepat (Haryana)
CTC: Up to 15 LPA
Industry: Stainless Steel Manufacturing – Kitchen Sinks, Dustbins, Hotel Shelves, Commercial Kitchen Equipment & Sheet Metal Products
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end fabrication production operations to achieve production, quality, and delivery targets.
Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and raw materials.
Supervise fabrication processes including laser cutting, shearing, CNC bending, TIG/MIG welding, spot welding, grinding, polishing, assembly, and finishing.
Coordinate with PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Purchase, and Dispatch for seamless production.
Drive productivity improvement, cost optimization, and waste reduction initiatives.
Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and safety standards across the shop floor.
Monitor production KPIs and ensure timely completion of customer orders.
Lead, mentor, and develop production supervisors, engineers, and shop-floor teams.
Required Skill Set
Strong expertise in stainless steel fabrication and sheet metal manufacturing.
Hands-on experience in laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, polishing, and assembly operations.
Knowledge of production planning, capacity planning, process optimization, and quality systems.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, OEE, and Root Cause Analysis.
Strong leadership, team management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and production MIS reporting.
Qualification & Experience
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
12–18 years of experience in stainless steel fabrication or sheet metal manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing production operations.
