We are looking for a highly experienced IoT Platform Engineer to join our engineering team and work on an enterprise-grade IoT connectivity platform handling real-time telemetry data, analytics, and large-scale distributed systems.
Key Skills Required:
✔ AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, IoT Core, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, ECS/Fargate, EventBridge, CloudWatch, Redshift, Glue, S3, IAM, VPC)
✔ Java 17+, Spring Boot 3.x
✔ AWS SDK v2, Lambda Powertools, Lombok
✔ Python 3, PySpark, AWS Glue
✔ REST APIs, OAuth2, JWT, API Security
✔ Docker, Git, Maven, CI/CD (GitHub Actions)
✔ Event-Driven & Serverless Architecture
✔ Microservices Architecture
✔ OpenSearch, SQL
✔ IoT Protocols (MQTT, UDP, Telematics)
✔ Cloud Monitoring & Observability
Experience Required:
14+ years of Software Engineering experience
6+ years of hands-on AWS experience
5+ years in Technical Leadership roles
3+ years mentoring/managing engineering teams
2+ years working with IoT Platforms or Real-Time Data Systems
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable cloud-native solutions
- Build event-driven and serverless architectures
- Develop and optimize REST APIs and microservices
- Lead technical discussions and architectural decisions
- Drive performance, scalability, and security improvements
- Mentor engineering teams and conduct code reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
