About the Role
Aspirants Learning Center (ALC) is looking for an energetic, concept-driven Social Studies (SST) Teacher to teach History, Geography, Political Science (Civics), and Economics for secondary foundation classes (Class 9th & 10th) and school entrance examinations (JMI / AMU / Board prep).
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver clear, concept-oriented lectures covering History, Geography, Civics, and Economics based on NCERT and competitive entrance syllabi.
- Prepare chapter-wise notes, high-yield worksheets, and practice question banks (MCQs + subjective questions).
- Conduct regular evaluation tests, track student performance, and lead doubt-clearing sessions.
- Utilize smart classroom technology (Interactive Digital Panels) to make social science concepts visually engaging and interactive.
- Maintain regular feedback and academic communication with students and parents.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or related disciplines (B.Ed is a plus).
- 1+ years of experience teaching Social Studies for CBSE Class 9–10 or university entrance foundation batches.
- Strong command of bilingual delivery (Hindi & English).
- In-depth understanding of NCERT curriculum, exam patterns, and key timeline/map-work concepts.
- Familiarity with using digital teaching boards/panels is preferred.
