We are hiring a Lead Business Analyst - Oil & Gas with Data to connect business leaders, domain experts, and engineers around shared, data-centric product goals. You will capture and clarify requirements, define product capabilities, and align delivery with Oil & Gas operational workflows and data entities. If you can turn complex domain needs into actionable stories and criteria.
Responsibilities

Represent Oil & Gas domain knowledge for product and engineering teams

Coordinate with business stakeholders, domain experts, and global users to collect, analyze, and refine requirements

Enable engineering teams to understand domain concepts, business processes, data models, and key industry entities
-
Produce detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria from business requirements
-
Work closely with product and engineering to shape features and ensure business value is delivered
-
Review and confirm solution designs against business objectives and operational workflows
-
Run and test end-to-end business workflows across the product lifecycle
-
Spot gaps, edge cases, and opportunities to improve processes during development

Present demonstrations, walkthroughs, and stakeholder-facing briefings for business users

Help drive UAT and support solution adoption activities
Requirements
-
Significant professional background in Business Analysis, typically 5+ years of experience delivering software or product outcomes

Solid knowledge of Oil & Gas processes, operational workflows, and how the domain runs day to day
-
Track record of collaborating with business stakeholders, domain experts, product managers, and software engineers in cross-functional teams
-
Strong capability in requirements gathering, business analysis, and working in product development environments
-
Well-developed analytical thinking, clear communication, and effective stakeholder management abilities
-
Proficiency in converting complex business concepts into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
-
Practical experience using Azure DevOps to manage work items and requirements
-
Working familiarity with domain data models from previous engagements
-
English level of Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher
Nice to have
-
Domain exposure to upstream, midstream, or downstream Oil & Gas operations
-
Familiarity with industry data models, business entities, and digital transformation programs

Experience working in Agile/Scrum product development environments

Experience with workflow validation, testing practices, and UAT execution

Knowledge of tools and platforms such as ProSource, OSDU, Petrel, Databricks, etc.
