Job Summary
We are looking for a Pricing Executive with experience in Freight Forwarding, Air Freight, and Ocean Freight operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive freight quotations, sourcing rates from carriers and vendors, coordinating with internal teams and overseas agents, and supporting business growth through effective pricing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Air Freight and Ocean Freight quotations for Import & Export shipments.
- Obtain competitive rates from shipping lines, airlines, co-loaders, NVOCCs, and overseas agents.
- Handle RFQs, spot quotations, and customer pricing requests.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and overseas partners to understand shipment requirements.
- Maintain and update freight rates, tariffs, and pricing records.
- Follow up with carriers and vendors for rate confirmations and service updates.
- Monitor contract validity and rate agreements.
- Maintain quotation records and track business conversion ratios.
- Prepare MIS reports related to quotations, pricing trends, and business performance.
- Support shipment execution by coordinating with internal teams after quotation approval.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Air Freight and Ocean Freight operations.
- Understanding of Freight Forwarding, Import-Export processes, and documentation.
- Experience in freight quotations, pricing, or logistics coordination.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with CargoWise or similar logistics software will be an added advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple quotations and work within deadlines.
