Cost and Estimation Engineer;
Core Responsibilities
- Cost Analysis & Take-offs: Review technical drawings and specifications to perform precise quantity take-offs. Develop comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for all project components.
- Budget Forecasting: Prepare multi-disciplinary cost estimates (conceptual, preliminary, and definitive) to support projects throughout their lifecycle.
- Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination: Request quotes from local suppliers, negotiate pricing, and evaluate supplier capabilities to ensure accurate material costs.
- Bid & Tender Preparation: Assist in drafting competitive technical and commercial tender submissions, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
- Cost Optimization & Value Engineering: Collaborate with design and project management teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and capital efficiency without compromising quality.
- Variance Reporting: Track actual expenditures against initial estimates, monitor market trends, and maintain historical cost databases for future reference.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
