Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, quantity take-offs, budgeting, billing, procurement coordination, and overall cost control for under-construction and existing residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of construction materials, contracts, BOQs, and vendor management, with the ability to ensure projects are delivered within budget and timeline targets.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) from drawings and specifications.
- Prepare project cost estimates and budgets for civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works.
- Prepare Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) for RCC works.
- Manage material procurement in coordination with project and site teams.
- Verify contractor and vendor bills, measurements, and running account (RA) bills.
- Conduct periodic site visits to verify and certify executed quantities and work progress.
- Conduct rate analysis and cost comparison for materials, labor, and subcontract works.
- Maintain and reconcile project accounts, billing records, and material consumption statements.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Assist in tendering, bid evaluation, vendor negotiations, and procurement processes.
- Track material consumption and reconcile quantities against approved BOQs.
- Prepare, maintain, and monitor contract documentation, work orders, and variation orders.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a quantity surveyor.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and any project management software.
- Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and cost control methods.
- Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
