Job Description
Genpact's Applied Advisory is building a next-generation AI Pod to transform the way consulting engagements are delivered by leveraging Agentic AI, Generative AI, and Intelligent Automation. This capability will design and deploy AI-powered accelerators, copilots, and autonomous workflows that augment consultants, automate knowledge-intensive tasks, and deliver measurable business value at enterprise scale.
We are seeking a visionary AI leader with strong consulting acumen who can bridge business strategy and deep technology to establish and lead this strategic capability. This role combines the responsibilities of an AI Strategist, Enterprise Solution Architect, Product Leader, and Delivery Executive. You will build the AI Pod from the ground up, define its operating model, architect enterprise-grade AI solutions, lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, and drive adoption across the consulting practice.
This is an opportunity to shape how AI becomes a core capability within our advisory business while building reusable AI assets that redefine consulting delivery.
Build and Scale the AI Pod:

Define the vision, charter, operating model, and strategic roadmap for the AI Pod, aligning its objectives with the organization's AI and business transformation strategy.

Establish scalable governance frameworks, including work intake, prioritization, delivery management, portfolio planning, and performance oversight to ensure efficient execution.

Build and lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary team comprising AI Engineers, Solution Architects, Prompt Engineers, Product Owners, SMEs, Data Engineers, and Quality Assurance specialists.

Implement best-in-class Agile delivery practices, engineering standards, sprint governance, release management, documentation, and knowledge-sharing processes to enable predictable, high-quality delivery.

Establish Responsible AI, security, compliance, and data governance frameworks, embedding appropriate guardrails, risk management, and human oversight across the AI solution lifecycle.

Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous learning, and engineering excellence to build a sustainable, scalable AI capability.
Work Type Identification & Automation Strategy

Own the identification and prioritization of internal consulting work types suitable for automation using AI and agentic workflows.

Partner with consulting delivery teams to map repeatable, high-effort, and high-volume tasks across engagements and practices.

Evaluate and prioritize automation use cases based on business value, technical feasibility, risk profile, and scalability.

Define end-to-end automation blueprints for each work type, specifying inputs, agentic workflow design, guardrails, and expected outputs.

Maintain a clear, prioritized pipeline of high-value automation opportunities aligned to firm-wide business priorities and transformation roadmap.
Technical & Solution Architecture

Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end AI and agentic solutions, leveraging LLMs, workflow orchestration, enterprise tools, and system integrations.

Develop multi-agent architectures that replicate and enhance consulting processes, including research, analysis, synthesis, modeling, quality assurance, and recommendation generation.

Define solution architecture, data flows, APIs, integration patterns, and connectivity with enterprise platforms and internal systems.

Establish scalable, modular, and reusable frameworks that can be deployed across multiple consulting teams and business functions.

Drive technical decisions related to model selection, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), evaluation frameworks, governance, and AI guardrails.

Partner with business, consulting, and engineering stakeholders to ensure solutions align with operational requirements, security standards, and enterprise architecture principles.
Drive Delivery Excellence

Own the AI product roadmap from ideation through production deployment.

Lead Agile planning, execution, quality assurance, and release management.

Define evaluation frameworks for accuracy, reliability, latency, explainability, and user experience.

Ensure production readiness through monitoring, feedback loops, and continuous improvement.

Build reusable frameworks, templates, and AI components that enable rapid solution development.
Scaling the AI Capability & Enterprise Adoption

Scale AI and agentic solutions from proof of concept and MVP stages to broad adoption across multiple teams and the enterprise.

Develop reusable frameworks, accelerators, libraries, templates, and agentic design patterns to enable efficient and consistent solution delivery.

Establish and maintain a portfolio of AI-driven automation solutions that address key consulting workflows and business needs.

Lead adoption and change management efforts through stakeholder engagement, training programs, user enablement, and best-practice sharing.

Define, track, and report on key success metrics, including adoption rates, productivity improvements, operational KPIs, product analytics, and business value realization.
Stakeholder Management & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partner with consulting leaders and business stakeholders to understand key workflows, identify operational challenges, and uncover opportunities for AI-driven automation.

Collaborate closely with IT, data, compliance, risk, and security teams to ensure solutions are designed, deployed, and governed in accordance with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.

Provide regular updates to senior leadership on program progress, key milestones, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes.

Facilitate alignment across business units and functional teams, ensuring shared priorities, clear expectations, and effective decision-making throughout the automation lifecycle.

Build strong stakeholder relationships to drive engagement, support change adoption, and promote successful implementation of AI initiatives.
Responsible AI, Risk & Compliance

Ensure all AI and agentic solutions comply with organizational policies, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and data governance frameworks.

Establish and enforce AI governance practices, including guardrails, access controls, auditability, monitoring, and ethical AI principles.

Conduct risk assessments for automation initiatives, identifying and mitigating potential operational, legal, security, compliance, and model-related risks.

Design and implement appropriate human-in-the-loop review and approval mechanisms for high-impact or sensitive use cases.

Partner with compliance, legal, security, and risk management teams to ensure responsible deployment and ongoing oversight of AI solutions.
Knowledge Management & Documentation

Maintain documentation for AI architectures, workflows, prompts, models, and integrations.

Develop standardized playbooks, templates, and best practices for scalable AI automation.

Build and manage centralized knowledge repositories with reusable assets and self-service resources.

Technical Skills and Competencies

Establish and oversee LLMOps/MLOps frameworks for model deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and lifecycle management.
