Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for spare parts, consumables, diesel, batteries, forklifts, and other operational requirements across multiple project sites. The candidate should possess strong analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills to ensure timely procurement at competitive prices.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and consolidate spare parts and consumables requirements from all project sites.
- Obtain necessary approvals from concerned authorities for procurement activities.
- Source quotations from multiple vendors and prepare comparative statements based on technical and commercial parameters.
- Conduct regular market analysis and cost comparisons for frequently purchased items.
- Maintain quality performance records and reports for regularly procured materials.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt at site.
- Maintain procurement records as per company SOPs and prescribed formats.
- Create and update PRs, POs, and invoice entries in MS Excel.
- Analyze historical consumption data and forecast future material requirements.
- Ensure optimum stock availability while minimizing lead times and procurement costs.
- Coordinate with site teams, vendors, stores, and accounts for smooth procurement operations.
- Perform any other procurement-related duties assigned by management from time to time.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Commerce, Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in procurement or purchase functions.
- Experience in industrial spare parts, maintenance consumables, or equipment procurement preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and procurement activities simultaneously.
Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
