Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer with hands-on experience in hoists and cranes. The candidate will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and ensuring smooth operation of lifting equipment at client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in EOT cranes, chain hoists, and wire rope hoists
- Troubleshoot 3-phase circuits, control panels, and radio remote systems
- Handle installation, alignment, and commissioning of equipment
- Program and configure Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Lead a team of 1–2 technicians at site
- Conduct preventive maintenance, safety checks, and load testing
- Train clients on equipment usage and safety procedures
- Maintain service reports, breakdown logs, and spare parts records
Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience in hoist & crane industry (mandatory)
- ITI / Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical
- Strong knowledge of 3-phase wiring and electrical drawings
- Experience with VFD programming is preferred
- Ability to lead a small team
- Comfortable working at heights
- Willing to travel for site work and emergency breakdowns
