Job Description – Senior Resident (Ophthalmology)

Position: Senior Resident
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage ophthalmology OPD and IPD patients.
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and assist in ophthalmic surgical procedures.
- Attend emergency ophthalmology cases and on-call duties.
- Conduct ward rounds and maintain accurate medical records.
- Participate in teaching undergraduate students and junior residents.
- Contribute to seminars, CMEs, and other academic activities.
- Ensure compliance with NMC guidelines and hospital protocols.
Qualification:
- MS/DNB in Ophthalmology from a recognized institution.
- Valid NMC/State Medical Council Registration.
Experience:
- Fresh postgraduates may apply. Relevant experience will be an added advantage.
