MY ARMOR Wellness Private Limited is a growing manufacturing company focused on Home Furnishing and Home Essentials, with products across pillows, cushions, mattress protectors and other everyday home products. We operate our own manufacturing facility in Visnagar, Gujarat, with multiple production departments and a growing shop-floor workforce.
As we scale our manufacturing operations, we are building a process-driven, data-driven and accountable production system where every department is responsible for its output, quality, manpower and process discipline.
About This Role
We are hiring Production Supervisors / Production Executives who can take ownership of day-to-day production execution on the factory floor. Based on experience and capability, selected candidates may be assigned to Stitching, Packing, Fabrication or other production functions.
The role is not limited to supervising workers. The candidate will be responsible for production targets, manpower management, shop-floor execution, data entry, daily documentation, process adherence, Lean/5S practices, discipline, quality coordination and employee relations.
We are looking for people with an owner mindset who identify problems, take corrective action and ensure that assigned production targets and systems are executed without constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Own daily production targets, planning and execution for the assigned department
- Manage and allocate manpower effectively on the shop floor
- Monitor hourly/daily production, target vs actual, productivity and WIP
- Identify bottlenecks and take corrective action to achieve production targets
- Ensure accurate and timely production data entry, reports and daily paperwork
- Follow and enforce defined SOPs, production processes and reporting systems
- Maintain shop-floor discipline, 5S and workplace organization
- Apply basic Lean Manufacturing principles and continuously improve productivity and processes
- Coordinate with PPC, Stores, QC, HR and other departments for smooth production flow
- Monitor quality, rework, wastage and process deviations
- Maintain proper documentation and production records
- Train, guide and supervise workers/operators
- Maintain a positive work culture while ensuring discipline and accountability
- Handle day-to-day employee issues and maintain healthy employee relations
- Take complete ownership of assigned department performance and execution
Candidate Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on production/supervisory experience in a manufacturing or product-based factory
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience managing shop-floor manpower/workers
- Prior experience in production planning, execution and target achievement
- Strong understanding of shop-floor production processes
- Data-driven and result-oriented approach
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and computer applications
- Comfortable with production reports, data entry and daily documentation
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, productivity and continuous improvement
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain discipline while building good employee relationships
- Owner mindset — takes responsibility for problems and drives them to closure
- Should be comfortable working full-time on the factory floor
Important
This is not a desk-based supervisory role. This is a senior, hands-on production leadership role that acts as a critical link between management and the shop-floor workforce. The selected candidate will be expected to be actively present on the floor, lead and manage employees, drive daily production, maintain systems and documentation, resolve operational issues, ensure discipline and process adherence, and take complete ownership of the assigned department's performance and results.achieves its targets.
Department allocation will be decided by management based on the candidate's experience, technical capability and interview/assessment performance.
