We are looking for a skilled and reliable Cook to join our vegetarian restaurant in Aluva. The ideal candidate should have experience preparing tasty, high-quality vegetarian dishes while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook vegetarian dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure food is fresh, properly cooked, and served on time.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Manage kitchen inventory and report ingredient requirements.
- Minimize food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
- Work effectively with the kitchen and service team during busy hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a cook in a vegetarian restaurant or hotel is preferred.
- Knowledge of South Indian vegetarian cuisine is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good time management and teamwork skills.
- Punctual, responsible, and committed to maintaining high food quality.
