Key Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth functioning of all computer systems, networks, and IT infrastructure.
- Monitor and maintain system security, data backup, and disaster recovery processes.
- Coordinate with department staff for timely resolution of technical issues.
- Assist in planning, implementation, and monitoring of IT projects.
- Ensure minimum system downtime and improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain departmental reports and documentation.
- Support the Head of Department in achieving departmental goals and targets.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance and procurement activities.
- Conduct regular audits of IT assets and infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and training to team members whenever required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- Master's Degree (preferred).
- Relevant certifications in Networking, System Administration, Cyber Security, Database Management, or Project Management will be an added advantage.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Experience in network administration and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of server management, data backup, and system security.
- Familiarity with database management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and productivity tools.
- Ability to manage IT infrastructure and coordinate with vendors.
- Knowledge of ERP, LMS, or educational technology platforms will be preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and team management skills.
