Job Summary
The Jr. Engineer / Engineer – CNC Machining will be responsible for the setup, operation, and execution of machining processes on CNC machines (3-axis and 5-axis) for epoxy tooling, aluminum, and composite parts. Hands-on 5-axis machining experience (minimum 2 years) is a must for this role. The incumbent will ensure machining accuracy within tight tolerances, support production requirements, collaborate with programmers and quality teams, and maintain machines and tooling to deliver high-quality components for aerospace and composites applications.
Key Responsibilities
· Set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines for epoxy tooling, aluminum, and composite parts.
· Interpret CAD drawings and CNC setup sheets to execute machining programs accurately.
· Select, set, and inspect cutting tools, fixtures, and work-holding devices.
· Perform in-process and final part inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
· Monitor machining operations, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments.
· Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and quality teams to resolve machining challenges.
· Conduct preventive maintenance, monitor machine health, and manage tooling inventory.
· Maintain machining records, including tool lists, inspection reports, and process logs.
Technical Expertise
· Diploma / Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
· Experience: 4–5 years in CNC machining, with minimum 2 years hands-on 5-axis machining (MUST).
· Strong knowledge of machining epoxy tooling, aluminum, and composite components (CFRP, GFRP).
· Proficiency in CNC setup, cutting tool selection, and part inspection methods.
· Familiarity with GD&T, machining process planning, and aerospace machining standards.
· Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments (CMM, Vernier, micrometers, gauges).
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
