Job Summary
The Showroom Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of the furniture showroom. This includes achieving sales targets, ensuring excellent customer service, managing showroom staff, maintaining visual merchandising standards, controlling inventory, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and annual showroom sales targets.
- Monitor daily sales performance and prepare sales reports.
- Develop strategies to increase walk-in conversions and customer retention.
- Ensure every customer receives a professional and personalized shopping experience.
- Handle high-value customer interactions and negotiations.
Team Management
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the showroom sales team.
- Conduct daily sales briefings and performance reviews.
- Prepare staff duty rosters and manage attendance.
- Train and mentor new employees on products, sales techniques, and customer service.
- Ensure discipline, grooming, and adherence to company policies.
Showroom Operations
- Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Monitor product displays and coordinate visual merchandising.
- Ensure all products are correctly priced and labeled.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams.
Customer Service
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure timely order processing, delivery coordination, and after-sales support.
- Build long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor stock availability and coordinate replenishment with the warehouse.
- Conduct regular stock verification and inventory audits.
- Report damaged, slow-moving, or obsolete inventory.
Coordination
- Coordinate with the warehouse, factory, logistics, HR, accounts, and customer service teams for smooth operations.
- Ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
- Follow up on pending orders and customer commitments.
Reporting
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational reports.
- Monitor KPIs including sales conversion, average billing value, customer footfall, and staff productivity.
- Provide recommendations to improve showroom performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in retail sales, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience in the furniture, home décor, interior, or lifestyle retail industry is preferred.

Salary
₹35,000 – ₹50,000 per month (based on experience) + Performance Incentives.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
