Field Engineer – Device Installation

Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Field Engineer to handle device installation, basic networking, troubleshooting, and on-site technical support. The candidate should be comfortable with field work and willing to travel to customer/project locations across Bangalore.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain networking and electronic devices at customer locations.
- Perform device installation, cabling, testing, and commissioning.
- Handle basic router, switch, and network configurations.
- Troubleshoot basic TCP/IP, connectivity, hardware, and network issues.
- Diagnose and resolve on-site technical problems.
- Coordinate with the technical/support team for complex issues.
- Maintain installation records, service reports, and documentation.
- Travel to different project/customer locations as required.
- Follow safety procedures and company installation standards.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Networking – TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routers & switches.
- Basic knowledge of hardware and operating systems.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use basic computer applications.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work in the field and travel.
- Two-wheeler preferred; fuel/travel, food expenses can be covered as per company policy.
Eligibility
- ITI / Diploma / BE / B.Tech / BCA / B.Sc. (IT/CS) candidates can apply.
- Freshers are eligible.
- Candidates with experience in networking, device installation, access control, or field technical support will be an advantage.
