Job Description: Market Dealing / Dealer
Role: Market Dealer
Exchanges: BSE & NSE
Department: Capital Markets / Dealing Desk
Key Responsibilities:
Execute trades on BSE and NSE across approved segments as per client and internal instructions.
Handle market dealing activities efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with exchange regulations.
Manage and operate front-office and back-office trading portals.
Perform trade verification, confirmation, and reconciliation on a daily basis.
Prepare and maintain trade-related reports, including daily turnover and position reports.
Monitor and handle margin reporting, margin shortfall checks, and client margin requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams for settlement-related activities and issue resolution.
Ensure compliance with SEBI, exchange, and internal policies at all times.
Assist in audit requirements and regulatory reporting when required.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
Strong understanding of equity markets and trading operations.
Hands-on experience with BSE/NSE trading systems.
Knowledge of margin norms, trade lifecycle, and settlement processes.
Proficiency in using trading portals and back-office systems.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure in live market conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
Relevant certifications (NISM preferred).
Prior experience in a broking / trading firm will be an advantage.
