Job Description
Position - Purchase Head – Interior Firm
Location - Sanpada, Navi Mumbai
Experience - 8–12+ years of experience
Notice Period – immediate or 15 days NP Max to Max
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage end-to-end purchase and procurement for interior projects.
· Develop and manage vendors/suppliers.
· Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules.
· Procure interior materials like plywood, laminates, hardware, electrical, lighting, furniture, etc.
· Prepare quotations, Comparative Statements and Purchase Orders.
· Coordinate with site, project, accounts and stores teams.
· Ensure timely material delivery and cost control.
· Monitor market rates and identify cost-saving opportunities.
· Lead and manage the purchase team.
Required Skills:
· Strong knowledge of interior and construction materials.
· Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
· Strong knowledge of market rates and sourcing.
· Good understanding of BOQ, BOM, project requirements and procurement planning.
· Strong Excel and ERP/procurement software knowledge. Preferred Candidate Profile:
· Graduate/Diploma in Supply Chain, Commerce, Civil Engineering, Interior Design or related field.
· 8–12+ years of experience in purchase/procurement.
· Interior fit-out / turnkey / construction industry experience is mandatory or highly preferred.
