About the Role
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong design sensibilities, excellent 3D visualization skills, and a passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing commercial spaces. This role involves conceptualizing, designing, and coordinating restaurant interior projects from concept to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative interior design concepts and space planning solutions.
- Prepare detailed 2D layouts, working drawings, and construction drawings using AutoCAD (mandatory).
- Create high-quality 3D models, realistic renderings, and visual presentations.
- Prepare mood boards, material boards, and client presentation layouts.
- Assist in creating 3D walkthroughs and design presentations for clients.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, consultants, and site execution teams.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and ensure execution aligns with approved designs.
- Assist in the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), material specifications, and cost estimates.
- Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and décor elements suitable for project requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with project timelines, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Maintain project documentation and coordinate with internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Up to 1 year of professional experience in Interior Design.
- Experience working on commercial interior projects will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory).
- Excellent 3D visualization and rendering skills.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following software:
- SketchUp
- 3ds Max
- V-Ray
- Lumion
- Adobe Photoshop (preferred)
- Good understanding of space planning, materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and detailing.
- Knowledge of commercial interior design standards and execution processes.
- Strong creativity with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
