We are looking for a dynamic, confident, and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to drive student admissions, develop strategic partnerships, and contribute to the overall growth of our Launchpad programs. The ideal candidate should be passionate about building meaningful relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and guiding prospective students towards the right career path.
This role combines business development, student counselling, relationship management, and admissions growth—focusing on creating long-term value rather than aggressive sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive student admissions by handling enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, emails, website leads, and walk-ins.
- Counsel prospective students by understanding their career goals and recommending suitable programs.
- Present Launchpad programs, career outcomes, and value propositions confidently and professionally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, parents, educational institutions, and corporate partners.
- Identify new business opportunities through colleges, training institutes, referral networks, and strategic partnerships.
- Develop and execute outreach activities, seminars, webinars, and campus engagement initiatives.
- Maintain disciplined follow-ups to maximize admission conversions.
- Record lead activities, admissions progress, and follow-up status in CRM and internal systems.
- Coordinate with Marketing to improve lead generation campaigns and conversion strategies.
- Work closely with Operations and Academic teams to ensure a smooth student onboarding experience.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets while maintaining a high level of student satisfaction.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, conversion ratios, and business development activities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English & Malayalam preferred).
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience in Business Development, Admissions, Student Counselling, EdTech, Education, Training Institutes, or similar industries is highly preferred.
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide consultative guidance.
- Highly organized with excellent follow-up and CRM management skills.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and proactive with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
