The Sales Head is responsible for driving overall business growth by leading Retail Sales, Corporate/Project Sales, CRM (Customer Relationship Management), and Marketing functions. The role involves strategic planning, revenue generation, team leadership, market expansion, and ensuring strong customer engagement across the PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) segment.

Job Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Business Growth
- Develop and implement annual sales strategies aligned with company growth targets.
- Identify new market segments (industrial, warehouse, logistics, commercial PEB projects).
- Drive lead generation frameworks and ensure a strong sales pipeline.
- Expand customer base across retail, institutional, and project clients.
2. Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and manage teams, including:
- Sales Executives (Retail & Project)
- CRE (Customer Relationship Executives)
- CRM Team
- Marketing Team
- Set KPIs, targets, and performance benchmarks for all team members.
- Conduct regular reviews, training, and performance evaluations.
3. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, consultants, architects, and EPC contractors.
- Oversee client meetings, negotiations, and deal closures for high-value projects.
- Ensure effective handling of customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback through CRM systems.
4. Lead Generation & Market Development
- Design and execute multi-channel lead generation strategies (cold calling, digital marketing, references, site visits).
- Monitor conversion ratios and optimize lead funnel efficiency.
- Drive participation in industry expos, trade fairs, and promotional campaigns.
5. Proposal, Estimation & Commercial Management
- Oversee preparation of:
- Techno-commercial proposals
- Cost estimations (in coordination with design & estimation team)
- Tender submissions
- Ensure accuracy in quotations, pricing strategies, and project costing.
- Approve and finalize commercial terms within company guidelines.
6. Negotiation & Deal Closure
- Lead high-level commercial and technical negotiations with clients.
- Ensure closure of deals with optimized margins and risk mitigation.
- Monitor contract finalization and handover to execution teams.
7. Marketing & Brand Development
- Develop and implement marketing strategies (offline + digital).
- Strengthen brand visibility in the PEB sector.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for:
- Campaigns
- Brochures and technical presentations
- Digital presence (website, social media, etc.)
8. Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis
- Conduct regular market surveys and competitor analysis.
- Track industry trends, pricing benchmarks, and customer preferences.
- Provide strategic inputs to management for business expansion.
9. CRM & Customer Lifecycle Management
- Ensure proper use of CRM systems for:
- Lead tracking
- Customer communication
- Opportunity management
- Improve customer satisfaction and retention rates.
10. Reporting & MIS
- Review and consolidate reports:
- Daily Sales Reports (DSR)
- Weekly pipeline and performance reports
- Monthly sales achievement vs target
- Quarterly business review reports
- Present insights and forecasts to management.
11. Compliance & Ethics
- Ensure all sales and marketing activities follow ethical practices and company policies.
- Maintain transparency in pricing, negotiations, and documentation.
12. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with:
- Design & Engineering (for drawings & specifications)
- Production (for feasibility & timelines)
- Dispatch & Projects (for execution tracking)
- Ensure smooth transition from order booking to project execution.
