Job Title: Sales & Operations Head – Events Industry

About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Sales & Operations Head to lead our Hyderabad business operations. This role combines strategic business development with operational excellence, making it ideal for a professional who can drive revenue growth, build strong client relationships, and oversee the successful execution of events and activation campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Events, BTL, Experiential Marketing, Activations, or Agency industry, with proven experience in sales leadership, client acquisition, team management, and end-to-end event operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Drive overall business growth and revenue generation for the Hyderabad branch.
- Identify, acquire, and develop new clients across corporate, brand, and agency segments.
- Expand business opportunities with existing clients through strategic account management.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Lead client pitches, presentations, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
Operations & Event Management
- Oversee end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of events, activations, and experiential marketing projects.
- Ensure seamless project execution while maintaining quality, timelines, and client expectations.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and partners to ensure successful event delivery.
- Monitor operational efficiency and implement best practices to improve productivity and service quality.
- Resolve operational challenges proactively and ensure smooth project execution.
Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage sales, client servicing, and operations teams.
- Set performance goals and monitor team productivity.
- Drive employee engagement, training, and professional development initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
Financial & Vendor Management
- Own branch P&L and ensure achievement of profitability objectives.
- Manage project budgets, quotations, invoicing, collections, and financial reporting.
- Implement effective cost-control measures and optimize operational expenses.
- Negotiate commercial terms with vendors and partners to maximize profitability.
- Ensure adherence to approved pricing structures and commercial guidelines.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary escalation point for key clients.
- Understand client objectives and provide innovative event and activation solutions.
- Ensure exceptional client satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.
- Drive client retention and recurring business opportunities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or MBA from a recognized institution.
- 4–8 years of experience in the Events, BTL, Experiential Marketing, Activations, Advertising Agency, or related industry.
- Proven success in sales, business development, and revenue generation.
- Experience handling business portfolios worth multiple crores.
- Strong understanding of event operations and project execution.
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and financial management capabilities.
