We’re Hiring | Environment Consultant | Tri-City Based
We are looking for a young, dynamic and motivated Environment Consultant to join our team, based out of the Tri-City region.
The role will involve assignments across Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh, with exposure to environmental approvals, EIA studies, regulatory documentation, client coordination and department/authority interactions.
Position: Environment Consultant
Location: Tri-City preferred
Experience: 2–3 years
Qualification: Graduate / Post Graduate in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Ecology, Sustainability, or related field
Mandatory Requirement:
Candidate must be an approved Functional Area Expert by NABET for relevant EIA functional areas.
Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will report to the Technical Head, GARS, and will support environmental consulting and regulatory advisory assignments, including:
- Preparation and review of EIA/EMP reports
- Environment Clearance documentation and submissions
- Consent to Establish / Consent to Operate related support
- Environmental compliance reports and monitoring documentation
- Site visits, field coordination and data collection
- Coordination with clients, project proponents and internal technical teams
- Interaction with concerned Departments, Pollution Control Boards and other statutory authorities
- Tracking approval timelines, regulatory requirements and compliance conditions
- Supporting project facilitation across Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh
Preferred Skills:
- Good understanding of EIA Notification, Environment Clearance process and pollution control regulations
- Prior experience in EIA/EC assignments and environmental compliance work
- Strong drafting, documentation and presentation skills
- Ability to interact professionally with clients and government authorities
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Willingness to travel within the region
- Self-driven, sincere and eager to take ownership of assignments
