Position Summary
Ramanand Enterprises is seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities at warehouse development projects. The role is responsible for supervising site operations, managing labor and subcontractors, monitoring construction progress, ensuring quality standards, enforcing safety compliance, and supporting timely project completion.
The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of civil construction practices, site management, project coordination, and workforce supervision.
Key Responsibilities1. Site Supervision & Construction Management
- Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at project sites.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project plans.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Coordinate site activities to maintain uninterrupted workflow.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
2. Labor & Contractor Management
- Supervise labor teams, subcontractors, and site workers.
- Assign daily work activities and monitor productivity.
- Ensure labor attendance and workforce discipline.
- Resolve on-site operational issues and workforce challenges.
- Coordinate contractor activities to avoid delays and conflicts.
3. Quality Control & Workmanship
- Monitor construction quality and workmanship standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of ongoing work.
- Ensure compliance with engineering specifications and approved drawings.
- Identify defects and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in quality checks and project inspections.
4. Material Management
- Monitor receipt, storage, and utilization of construction materials.
- Verify material quantities delivered to the site.
- Prevent material wastage, theft, or misuse.
- Maintain records of material consumption and stock levels.
- Coordinate material requirements with procurement and project teams.
5. Site Safety & Compliance
- Enforce safety policies and construction site regulations.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks.
- Identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
- Report accidents, incidents, and near-miss events immediately.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
6. Project Coordination
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, consultants, vendors, and contractors.
- Support project planning and scheduling activities.
- Monitor daily progress against project timelines.
- Report delays and recommend corrective measures.
- Assist management in achieving project objectives.
7. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily site progress reports.
- Record labor deployment and construction activities.
- Prepare material consumption reports.
- Maintain site records, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
- Submit regular updates to project management.
8. Equipment & Site Management
- Monitor construction equipment and machinery usage.
- Ensure proper maintenance and operational readiness of equipment.
- Coordinate repair and maintenance requirements.
- Maintain site cleanliness and organization.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in civil construction, industrial projects, warehouse construction, or infrastructure development.
- Experience in supervising construction sites and workforce management.
