Assistant Accountant
Job Summary
The Assistant Accountant supports the accounting and finance team by maintaining financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions in accounting software.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, receipts, vouchers, and payment records.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.
- Process employee reimbursements and expense claims.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and filing systems.
- Support tax, GST/VAT, TDS, and statutory compliance activities as applicable.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers/vendors.
- Perform data entry and general accounting administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of accounting experience (freshers may be considered).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho Books).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
