We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for creating and developing precise 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD for our range of HVAC and ventilation products. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a passion for mechanical design and a keen eye for technical accuracy. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed 2D engineering drawings and layouts using AutoCAD for Air Handling Units (AHU), Air Washers, Dehumidifiers, and Ventilation Units. Develop component-level and assembly-level drawings in accordance with design specifications and engineering standards. Coordinate with the mechanical and electrical engineering teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility. Revise and update drawings based on feedback from production, quality, and project engineering teams. Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and part lists corresponding to design drawings. Ensure all drawings comply with relevant IS/ISO/AHRI/EUROVENT standards and internal quality benchmarks. Support the project team during design review meetings and technical discussions. Maintain and manage drawing files and documentation in an organised manner. Assist in the development of product design improvements and cost-optimisation initiatives. MS Office (Word / Excel)
3D CAD (Preferred but not mandatory) Qualification & Eligibility Degree B.E. / B.Tech — Mechanical or Electrical Diploma Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Also Eligible ⭐ ITI Draftsman (Mechanical / Civil) candidates are encouraged to apply Skills & Attributes Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D — ability to create accurate and production-ready drawings independently. Good understanding of mechanical/electrical components, tolerances, and GD&T symbols. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications. Strong attention to detail with a systematic approach to work. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
