Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation & Cooking
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes as per the restaurant’s menu.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning.
- Follow recipes and instructions from the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
- Handle specific sections (e.g., pantry, hot kitchen, grill) efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients (FIFO method).
- Monitor stock levels and inform seniors for replenishment.
- Reduce wastage and control food costs.
- Guide and support junior Commis Chefs and kitchen helpers.
- Assist in training new staff members.
- Coordinate with other kitchen sections for smooth service.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
- Ensure proper handling of raw and cooked food.
- Maintain personal hygiene and grooming standards.
- Use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs immediately.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹25,412.00 per month
