About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer Intern to join our engineering team. The intern will assist in preparing electrical drawings, supporting design activities, and ensuring documentation accuracy. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in electrical design and drafting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Assist in the design of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control circuits.
- Create and update single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and cable schedules.
- Support engineers in preparing technical documentation and design calculations.
- Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.
- Coordinate with project teams to incorporate design revisions.
- Maintain organized records of project drawings and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- AutoCAD proficiency is mandatory.
- Basic understanding of electrical design principles and engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with electrical symbols, standards, and drafting practices.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to electrical design software such as EPLAN, ETAP, or Revit MEP is an advantage.
- Understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings.
Pay: ₹7,500.00 per month
