JOB DESCRIPTION – PM STORE EXECUTIVE

1. Job Purpose
To ensure proper receipt, storage, issuance, reconciliation, and inventory control of Packing Materials (PM) in accordance with company procedures, GMP requirements, and safety standards.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Receive all packing materials such as cartons, labels, foils, bottles, caps, leaflets, shippers, printed materials, etc. as per approved Purchase Order and documents.
- Verify the quantity, material description, batch/lot number, and physical condition of received packing materials.
- Ensure proper quarantine, approved, rejected, and under-test status identification and segregation of materials.
- Maintain proper storage conditions and systematic arrangement of packing materials in designated locations.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO principles are followed wherever applicable.
- Issue packing materials to the Production Department against approved Material Requisition / Issue Slip.
- Ensure accurate recording of material receipts, issues, returns, and stock balances in ERP/software and relevant registers.
- Maintain proper control and reconciliation of printed packing materials, including labels, cartons, leaflets, and other controlled materials.
- Ensure line-clearance-related packing materials are properly accounted for and returned after completion of production activity.
- Monitor stock levels and prepare requirements/replenishment requests to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile physical stock with ERP/system records.
- Report any shortage, excess, damage, mix-up, or discrepancy immediately to the Store Manager / concerned department.
- Ensure proper identification and traceability of all packing materials.
- Maintain proper housekeeping, cleanliness, pest-control compliance, and safety practices within the PM Store.
- Ensure materials are stored on pallets/racks and are protected from contamination, damage, and mix-up.
- Coordinate with QA, Production, Purchase, and Accounts departments regarding material status, requirements, discrepancies, and documentation.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal/return of rejected, obsolete, damaged, or expired packing materials as per approved procedures.
- Maintain all applicable store records, registers, checklists, and documents in a timely and accurate manner.
- Follow all applicable GMP, GDP, EHS, SOP, and company policies.
- Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits by providing required records and documents.

4. Qualification
- Diploma / B.Com / B.Sc. / B.Pharm or equivalent
- Candidates with experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing store/warehouse will be preferred.
5. Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Packing Material Store / Warehouse.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical GMP and warehouse practices will be preferred.
6. Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Packing Material handling and inventory management
- Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO
- ERP/SAP knowledge
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills
- Basic knowledge of GMP/GDP
- Good communication and coordination skills

8. Compliance

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
