We are looking for an experienced Accounts Officer to manage core accounting, taxation, and financial compliance at our WHO-GMP certified manufacturing plant in Panchkula. You will be responsible for handling routine ledger operations, statutory filings, vendor reconciliations, and daily financial records.
Key Responsibilities

GST Compliance: Prepare and file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, verify input tax credit via 2A/2B ITC reconciliation, and generate e-invoicing and e-way bills.

TDS & Statutory Filings: Calculate monthly TDS/TCS liabilities, process challan payments, and assist with quarterly 24Q/26Q return filings and Form 16/16A issuance.

Ledger & Bookkeeping: Record daily journal, purchase, sales, and bank entries in ERP / Tally in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliation statements (BRS) and follow up on pending clearing items and dishonoured instruments.

Vendor & Customer Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor ledgers against GRN and purchase invoices, process vendor payments, and verify customer balances.

Debit & Credit Notes: Issue and verify credit/debit notes for rate differences, material returns, or discounts with proper supporting documentation.

Payroll & Expense Verification: Verify monthly payroll inputs, check PF/ESIC deductions, and process employee expense claims against approved vouchers.

Audit Support: Compile schedules, trial balance extracts, and ledger confirmations for statutory audit and tax assessments.

Reporting & MIS: Prepare daily cash/bank flow summaries and monthly MIS reports using advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

Experience: 3-4 years of hands-on experience in core accounting and taxation, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or corporate setup.

Education: B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA or equivalent commerce degree.

Skills:

Proficiency in Tally Prime and ERP accounting modules.

Hands-on expertise in GST portal, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, e-way bills, and TDS calculations.

Strong command of MS Excel including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and financial reconciliations.

Clear understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, ledger scrutinies, and schedule preparation.
