Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Assistant Professor to join our Nursing Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality academic instruction, supervising clinical training, and contributing to the overall development of our nursing students.
Key Responsibilities
- Academic Instruction: Lecture and conduct practical sessions for B.Sc. and Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing students.
- Clinical Supervision: Guide and supervise students during their clinical rotations in hospital and community settings.
- Curriculum & Assessment: Assist in curriculum planning, preparing lesson plans, setting question papers, and evaluating student performance.
- Mentorship: Act as a faculty advisor, guiding students through academic queries and research projects.
- Administrative Support: Participate in departmental meetings, admissions processes, college events, and accreditation documentation (e.g., INC/State Nursing Council compliance).
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Education: M.Sc. in Nursing from a recognized university/institution (Specialty in Medical-Surgical, OBG, Pediatrics, Community Health, or Psychiatry).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching or clinical experience after completing M.Sc. Nursing (as per standard regulatory council guidelines).
- Registration: Must hold active RN/RM registration with the State Nursing Council / Indian Nursing Council.
