Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing medication counseling to patients, ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations, and supporting the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness before dispensing medications.
- Dispense prescription medicines and over-the-counter products in accordance with legal and professional standards.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, storage, and potential drug interactions.
- Monitor and maintain accurate medication records and pharmacy documentation.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and monitoring medication stock.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medications.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication therapy.
- Maintain compliance with all pharmacy regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and provide healthcare-related guidance within the scope of practice.
- Supervise and support pharmacy assistants and other pharmacy staff when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/D.Pharm).
- Valid Pharmacist Registration Certificate.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, and pharmacy regulations.
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with pharmacy management software.
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
