About the Role
We are looking for experienced backend developers who possess strong development experience in backend technologies and programming languages other than Rust and are interested in building their career in Rust development. Candidates with solid backend fundamentals, API development experience, and a willingness to learn and work with Rust are encouraged to apply.
This role offers an opportunity to work closely with our team in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices while transitioning into the Rust ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend applications, APIs, and microservices using Rust.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design system architecture and backend solutions.
- Build scalable, efficient, and maintainable backend systems.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend integrations.
- Work with SQL / NoSQL databases for data management and optimization.
- Debug, test, document, and optimize backend applications.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–4 years of backend development experience using technologies such as:
- Python
- Node.js
- Java
- Golang
- PHP
- C# / .NET
- C++ or similar backend technologies
Strong understanding of:
- Data Structures & Algorithms
- Object-Oriented Programming Concepts
- System Design Principles
- REST APIs & Authentication
- Microservices Architecture
- Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Willingness and enthusiasm to learn and work with Rust programming language.
Preferred / Good to Have Skills
- Basic exposure or learning experience in Rust programming.
- Knowledge of Rust frameworks such as Actix, Rocket, or Axum.
- Experience with Git / GitHub.
- Understanding of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
- Experience working in scalable backend environments.
