Job Summary:
We are looking for a QC In-Charge to oversee quality control operations in the production of chapathi, porota, and idly-dosa batter. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, food safety compliance, process monitoring, and quality team coordination to maintain established standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise quality control activities across raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GHP, HACCP, FSSAI, and food safety regulations.
- Monitor critical quality parameters such as pH, moisture, texture, weight, appearance, and shelf life.
- Conduct routine inspections of production, packaging, and storage areas.
- Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Review and maintain quality records, reports, SOPs, and batch documentation.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure consistent product quality.
- Train and guide QC staff on quality standards, hygiene, and food safety practices.
- Handle customer complaints, non-conformance reports, and product quality investigations.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness.
Requirements:
- M.Sc. Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Agriculture, or related field.
- Experience in quality control within chapathi, porota, idly-dosa batter, bakery, or food processing industries.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FSSAI requirements, and quality management systems.
- Experience in documentation, process monitoring, and team supervision.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
