Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Electrical Engineer to support plant electrical operations under the guidance of the Operation Head. The candidate will be responsible for handling electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment monitoring, and ensuring smooth electrical operations within the plant. Candidates with Iron & Steel manufacturing industry experience will be preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day electrical maintenance activities.
- Monitor electrical equipment and plant utility systems.
- Attend electrical breakdowns and troubleshoot issues.
- Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure smooth functioning of motors, panels, transformers, and electrical systems.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance departments for smooth operations.
- Maintain electrical safety standards within the plant.
- Prepare maintenance reports and documentation.
- Monitor power consumption and equipment performance.
- Assist senior management and Operation Head in plant operations.
- Ensure minimum downtime of electrical equipment.
- Support installation and commissioning of electrical systems when required.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance
- Understanding of motors, panels, transformers, and plant electrical systems
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Preventive maintenance knowledge
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in plant environment
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience in Iron & Steel Industry preferred
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in plant electrical operations and maintenance
- Immediate joiners preferred
