Key Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and develop international suppliers of scrap tyres. Independently manage overseas tyre-scrap procurement activities. Negotiate prices, quality specifications, payment terms, contracts, and commercial conditions. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with international suppliers. Evaluate supplier quality, pricing, reliability, and performance. Coordinate container planning, loading, inspection, and shipment with suppliers and logistics partners. Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, inspection agencies, and internal teams. Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely shipment execution. Resolve supplier, quality, documentation, and shipment-related issues. Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier databases, price records, and supplier performance reports. Monitor international market prices and identify competitive sourcing opportunities. Provide regular purchase and supplier updates to management. Support the Company in expanding its international tyre-scrap supplier network.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of direct experience in international scrap-tyre purchasing. Candidates must currently or previously have worked specifically in the tyre-scrap industry. Proven experience independently handling international tyre-scrap sourcing and imports. Strong knowledge of overseas tyre-scrap suppliers and international procurement practices. Strong negotiation and supplier-management skills. Knowledge of container loading, inspection, shipping, and import processes. Strong communication and follow-up abilities. Ability to independently manage suppliers and procurement activities. Good knowledge of MS Excel and purchase reporting.
