We are seeking an energetic and highly organized individual to join our growing Marketing and Client Delivery team. The Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for executing, managing, and optimizing automated marketing campaigns with a strong emphasis on email. This role combines platform expertise, technical execution, data-driven automation, and quality assurance to deliver scalable, reliable, and high‑performing client marketing programs. This individual will report to the Director of Client Delivery, working closely with other members of the Marketing and Client Delivery team and collaborating with various internal teams across Skipta to ensure flawless execution of client campaigns within contractually obligated timelines.
You will serve as a hands-on execution expert, translating campaign strategies into automated journeys, personalized communications, and well-tested deployments across Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Salesforce Data Cloud, and connected data platforms.
The Marketing Automation Specialist should be results and performance driven, possess enthusiasm to cross-train, take on ambitious goals, and strive to optimize strategies. We are seeking someone who is comfortable in an environment where priorities can shift rapidly and is adaptive to change.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within Skipta to translate client requirements into email campaigns

Build, deploy, and manage automated email campaigns within SFMC, including triggered sends, multi‑step journeys, one-time deployments, and lifecycle programs.

Manage SFMC modules including Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Journey Builder

Knowledge of advanced SFMC Engagement+ edition, Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce Flow, and AI prompting experience to manage program segmentation and audience activation

Create and maintain data extensions, queries, filters, and automation workflows.

Support HTML email builds and template updates (hands‑on or through collaboration).

Implement dynamic content (tokenization), personalization rules, rendering, and deliverability

Optimize campaigns based on engagement performance and testing insights (I.e., A/B testing).

Ability to build/run SFMC reports; SQL queries and perform data extracts a plus

Partner with the designated Program Managers to ensure client expectations are being met
Troubleshoot and fix program issues within Salesforce platform

2-5 years in marketing automation, email marketing, or marketing operations

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, Marketing and/or Marketing Automation concentration preferred

Experience in Healthcare/pharmaceuticals is a plus

Experience with SFMC Engagement Plus and/or Salesforce Data Cloud (Data360) is a plus.

Working knowledge of email automation, journeys, and triggered messaging.

Experience with data segmentation, SQL queries, or automation logic

Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email (building, editing, and troubleshooting)
