Job Purpose
To acquire new customers for Tally software through direct field visits, lead generation activities, and consultative sales pitches. This role involves actively exploring new markets, meeting prospects, demonstrating the product, and closing sales to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. New Customer Acquisition
- Identify and visit prospective businesses to pitch Tally solutions.
- Conduct on-site meetings and product presentations/demonstrations.
- Understand customer needs and offer suitable product solutions.
- Close sales independently or in collaboration with the telesales team.
2. Lead Generation Activities
- Plan and execute daily visits to potential clients and CA/influencer networks.
- Organize and participate in one-to-many events like seminars, demos, and campaigns.
- Collaborate with marketing and inside sales teams to convert leads into sales.
3. Sales Reporting & Planning
- Maintain records of daily visits, customer feedback, and next actions.
- Update CRM system with lead status, visit details, and follow-ups.
- Prepare weekly plans and performance reports for review meetings.
4. Product Knowledge & Relationship Building
- Stay updated on Tally product features, pricing, and add-ons.
- Build rapport with influencers, partners, and potential clients.
- Provide post-sales coordination for smooth onboarding of new customers.

Qualifications
- Graduate in Commerce, Business, or IT discipline
- Tally certification is preferred or willingness to learn
Experience
- 1–3 years in field sales, B2B sales, or software product selling
- Experience in selling ERP/accounting software is an advantage
Skills Required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated with strong closing skills
- Time management and territory planning
- Knowledge of basic sales funnel metrics and CRM usage
- Ability to work independently in the field
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
