We are looking for an experienced Assistant Sales Manager – Tooling & Coolant with 15+ years of experience in industrial tooling, metal cutting tools, and coolant/lubrication solutions. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing customer relationships, providing technical support, and identifying business opportunities in manufacturing and machine shop industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets for tooling and coolant products.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities.
- Provide technical support and product recommendations for cutting tools, coolant systems, and machining applications.
- Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, and application studies.
- Analyze customer requirements and provide cost-effective solutions to improve machining performance and productivity.
- Coordinate with application engineering and technical teams to resolve customer issues.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close business deals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Ensure timely collections and maintain customer accounts.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of metal cutting tools, tooling applications, industrial coolants, and machining processes.
- Good understanding of CNC machining and machine shop operations.
- Strong customer handling, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to identify market opportunities and drive sales growth.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and sales reporting.
Qualification:
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years in tooling, coolant, industrial products, or related sales.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in automotive, precision machining, machine shop, or manufacturing industries.
- Proven record of achieving sales targets and business development.
- Team handling and customer relationship management experience.
Pay: ₹38,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
